Commerce chamber commends Lamido for constructing grazing mill

The Director-General of the Jigawa state Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Industry, Alhaji Abdulkarim Hussien has commended Governor Sule Lamido for the construction of 50 windmills across the state to provide water for cattles.

The DG who spoke to Daily Trust in his office said the construction of the windmills in all the grazing lands in the state was a big relief to pastoral migration in search of water and pasture.

He said it will go a long way in checking the perennial farmers and herdsman clash as well improve the health and productivity of the animals.

He said other states in the north need to copy this initiative in order to arrest the fights between farmers and herdsmen.
