The march that started from Muhammadu Aminu Square (Polo Field) in Sabon Gari Local Government Area, terminated at the emir’s palace in the ancient city.Later, el-Rufa’i paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris, at his palace where the emir appealed to all Nigerians, particularly politicians, to accept the outcome of the forthcoming general elections in good faith.He said: “Let me seize this opportunity to call on Nigerians in general, and candidates in particular, to accept the outcome of the forthcoming elections in good faith for sustainable national growth. I pray God, in His infinite mercy, to enable us elect credible candidates in a peaceful manner.”Speaking, el-Rufa’i said he was at the palace to seek for royal blessing, adding that his prayer to God was for Him to fulfil his gubernatorial ambition if that would bring peace and development to Kaduna State.
