Customs boss declares war on smugglers

The Comptroller of Customs Service, Federal Operation Unit, Zone C’ Owerri, Mohammed Biu, has warned smugglers to desist from the act or face the wrath of the law. He insisted that the unit would not fold its hands and allow smugglers to turn the country into a dumping ground for fake and counterfeit goods and products. Biu, who said this yesterday while addressing newsmen, said the unit recorded reasonable success in the month of January.
