Institute seeks council on public procurement
Category: News Written by Nasir Imam
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to abide by the provisions of the Public Procurement Act of 2007 and constitute the National Council on Public Procurement (NCPP).
President of the Institute Mohammed Jimoh Aliyu said in Abuja yesterday that a policy on procurement should not be treated half-heartedly since most of the corruptions in Nigeria come from the procurement of goods, works and services.
