...As Kano govt donates to family of slain polio workers

The Kano State government has donated N500,000 to families of each of the 10 health workers killed last Friday by unknown gunmen in Kano city. Equally, the sum of N250,000 was donated to four others who sustained injuries during the attack. Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso announced the donation during a meeting with families of the victims. He also announced that chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has donated N500,000 to each of the families and N250,000 to the injured victims.
