Ex-militants issue fresh threats

Ex-militants in Imo State have threatened to take up arms again if the amnesty programmne instituted by late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, is not properly implemented. Leader of the group, Andrew Godwin, in a letter in Owerri said the programme which was designed to empower Niger Delta youths may not record the desired success due to what he called politicization and marginalization of some states.
