He told our correspondent yesterday that the change experienced at the federal level in last Saturday’s presidential election where the APC presidential candidate, retired General Muhammadu Buhari, defeated his PDP counterpart, President Goodluck Jonathan, would also be replicated at the state level where, he said, the APC would beat the PDP. “The hurricane of Buhari and the APC is an idea whose time has come and the outcome of the March 28 election in Jigawa and Nigeria at large is a testimony to that. We are set for the next poll where we hope to finally nail the coffin of the PDP in Jigawa for good,” he said.Kiri commended the people of the state for supporting Buhari to clinch the presidential seat, adding that they should come out en masse to vote for the APC during the governorship and State Assembly elections in the state.
