The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) said it will take action against individuals and organizations whose human resources are not members of the professional institute.
The President of CIPM, Mr Biola Popoola made the remarks yesterday when he led the institute’s members to the Corporate Headquarters of Media Trust Limited in Abuja.
“Machines are important, money is important but the greatest resource we have is people and those who must be asked to take care of people must be those who are qualify and are professionals. Let quacks not manned this important positions in the organizations be it in public or private sector, let employers entrust their people to people who are professionals,” he said.
“We believe that those who must manage those resources must be professionals and must be ethical in what they do. So we are in this to help the managers of human resources to become as professionals as possible,” he said.
