Group urges Yuguda to contest for president in 2015

Governor Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State has been urged contest for president in the forthcoming general election in 2015. A statement signed by the chairman of Bauchi awareness action group Alhaji Bashir Abubakar titled appreciation of Yuguda administration which was distributed to newsmen yesterday in Bauchi explained that Yuguda had brought significant improvement in the lives of a common man in an around the state apart from the laudable projects like the construction of the Bauchi state International airport, State University , Specialist Hospital, hundreds years histocric roads and many other things.
He pledged the support of thousands of their members to the governor whenever he shows interest to contest the position of the president of Nigeria in 2015 because of his “essential leadership qualities.”
The chief press secretaty to Governor Isa Yuguda Mr Ishola Michael Adeyemi when contatcted, disowned the group, he said “ We dont know who was behind this initiative we did not sponsore it we didn’t ask any body and the governor did not tell anybody that he has interest in any position , we are committed to complete the mandate giving to us by the people of Bauchi which we will complete in 2015 , but since this is a democracy the group are on their own and expressing their own opinion but we are not aware of it”
