Nasarawa: 50 percent former cabinet members to return

Only about half the number of members in Governor Tanko Almakura’s cabinet will make his new cabinet, sources have revealed.
Investigation by our correspondent also indicated that the position of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), which is also vacant after the governor sacked his cabinet on January 28, has been zoned to Nasarawa-West.
Two persons; one a former finance commissioner who served in various cabinet positions throughout the administration of Abdullahi Adamu, and a  permanent secretary who served in the  Aliyu Akwe Doma have been pencilled down for the position.
Not less than nine of the disengaged commissioners, according to sources, would be replaced. Al-Makura, last week said he will soon come up with a cabinet list within 10 days from last week.
