Two traders have drowned in River Niger while travelling to Yauri market in Kebbi State.
The victims, a woman and an elderly man, were from Binua village.
This was coming two days after 18 worshippers were drowned in the same river in Yauri.
The Chairman of Yauri Local Government Area, Musa Mohammad,who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust on telephone, said the canoe was conveying 11 people.
