One person died while two others sustained injuries in an accident that happened along New Benin area of Benin metropolis yesterday.
Witnesses said the accident which happened at 8am involved an articulated vehicle, a Toyota Camry with registration number BEN-348FK and Audi 80 car with Reg no RJ472-AAA.
It was further gathered that the articulated vehicle coming from the 3rd Junction axis of the New Benin area rammed into the Camry and Audi, killing the driver of the Audi car who was sitting on top of the burnet of the car waiting for passengers when the truck arrived.
The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Samuel Odukoya, said the obstruction caused by the accident had been cleared.
