Residents of Dagbana Community in Jikwoyi Abuja yesterday turned out in large numbers to test their HIV status at a free HIV testing centre set -up by the Tomorrow’s Women Development Organisation.

Residents were enlightened on the disease as well as the measures to prevent it. They were also treated from malaria and taught the advantages of being hygienic.

Founder of the organisation, Lady Chinyere Ezenwokike, praised the residents for turning-up in large numbers to check their HIV status and said so far, non- tested positive to the virus.

“We will teach them preventive measures from the disease and also inform them not to discriminate against those that have the illness,” she added.
