Author Ayisha Osori said her last good read is ‘What Happened’ by Hilary Clinton. “I enjoyed the book for so many reasons. It provided the internal context. The whole world watched the primaries and the election and I was shocked by the outcome. The book showed how things were unfolding in the United States election,” she said.
“I love her and I’m very inspired by her attempt and energy. She ended her book in an uplift spirit and It is her country regardless of whether she won or not. It is a witty, funny book. You will get a better perspective about her relationship with her husband, and what is interesting to her. I sympathise with her. She had a tough run and she still has a tough run.”
Osori is author of ‘Love Does Not Win Elections’, a book that chronicles her experience attempting to clinch the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket in 2014 to run for the Federal House of Representatives seat for the AMAC/Bwari constituency in Abuja.
