Candido donates relief materials to orphanage homes

The Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Abdullahi Adamu Candido, has donated relief materials to two orphanage homes in Gishiri community of Maitama extension and Piwoyi village of Lugbe in the FCT.

Candido said as part of activities to mark his one and half years in office, he decided to touch the lives of children who are the future generation.

“Today marks my one year six months in office, as such this is part of my contribution to better their lives and to work in all ramifications to better the wellbeing of FCT residents,” he added.

The two orphanages, Hope for Survival Orphanage and Bema Homes for the Less Privileged, received items such as noodles, mattresses, toiletries among others.

The manager of one of the orphanage homes, Cephas Thaddeaus, thanked the chairman and urged him to continue changing lives of less privileged.
