Cooperative housing national conference holds in Abuja 23rd Oct

Foremost real estate development firm, Jedo Investment Company Ltd in collaboration with the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, FMBN will on 23rd  of October, 2017 hold a one day National Sensitization programme for co-operative housing finance in Nigeria.

The programme is primarily aimed at enlightening members of cooperative societies on the resolution of the FMBN to provide housing development loan to duly registered cooperatives, as part of measures toward actualizing federal government plan on mass housing development.

The national housing conference will therefore unveil packages by Jedo Investment Company that cooperatives could take advantage of towards providing decent and affordable housing to their teeming members and other interested members of the public.

The conference scheduled to take place at the Musa Yardua Center, Abuja will be declared open by the Minister of State for, Power, Works & Housing, Mustapha Baba Shehuri .

The Director of cooperatives will deliver a paper on the role and challenges of cooperative societies in enhancing housing development for its members while the Managing Director of FMBN, Architect Ahmed Dangiwa will take the floor to speak on cooperative housing finance.

President of Mortgage Banking Association of Nigeria, MBAN will deliver a paper on the processes for accessing National Housing Fund loans by members of cooperatives just as the Chairman and Chief Executive of Jedo Investment Company Ltd, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko will make a presentation on home ownership opportunities at its proposed Co-operative Village in Ushafa district of Bwari Area Council of the FCT .

Head, Private-Public Partnership of the Ministry of Power, Works & Housing will dwell on land acquisition for members of co-operative societies.
