The new Head of Operation in charge of Port Harcourt zonal headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Nnagbe Obon Itam, has assumed duty with a call on journalists to assist the commission achieve its goal of fighting financial crime.
Nnagbe Obon Itam who takes over from Ishaq Salihu, said the South-south zonal office of the Commission was confronted with a whole lot of challenges such as oil bunkering, illegal refinery and vandalism, but that the commission was ever determined to reduce financial crime.
“We want your active collaboration both in enlightenment , education and informing the public. You are our partner and you are encouraged to continue to partner with us,” he said.
