A 17-year-old girl, Aisha Babangida Jigama has lost her life in a house fire.
Aisha was believed to have suffocated to death when she got caught up in the inferno which was attributed to an electrical surge and which injured two others.
Witnesses said the fire started at 7pm and lasted till past 8 pm and it took the intervention of the state fire service to stop it.
Already the state governor Aminu Masari has visited the father, Jigama, the state Director of Protocol, to condole with him over the incident.
