A group, Campaign for Atiku Abubakar Presidency 2019, has completed arrangements for a one million man- match in support of ex- Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
National Coordinator of the group, Dr. Paul E. John said in an interview yesterday that over one million people drawn from all the 36 states of the federation and Abuja would take part in match slated for May 5.
“The whole idea is to reiterate our commitment to what the former vice president believes in- a strong Nigeria where the life of every citizen would be protected; where every person would be allowed to actualize their potentials,” he said.
Dr. John said the match would commence at the Eagle Square would terminate at Atiku’s residence in Asokoro.
“We would ask him to vie for the presidency to save Nigeria from collapse. Thousands of youths would be part of the procession; they would give their votes to Atiku because he knows their worth. He had created over 8,000 jobs for youths through his private companies and you can imagine what he would do when he becomes the president of Nigeria,” he said.
