A group under the aegis of GoodNews Nigeria, has called on a former Military Governor of Kaduna State, Colonel Umar Dangiwa, to vie for the presidency come 2019.
GoodNews Nigeria is a political alliance that is working towards bringing together the North, West and South of Nigeria under a formidable network to vote for one candidate that represents what its leaders termed a “United Nigeria.”
A statement signed yesterday by the group’s National Coordinator, Engineer Dauda J. Mbaya, and read by the Director, Media and Public Affairs, Victor B. Mathew, said that having profiled other individuals, the group arrived at Col. Dangiwa “who is today the only Nigerian of repute and who is in real contact with the grassroots despite of his influence across the nation.”
