A Kogi State High Court judge, Justice Aromeh Benson Akogu, who died just before the dawn of this year, has been laid to rest in his Idah country home.

Akogu, who was the Resident High Court Judge, Kabba, died shortly before midnight on December 31, 2017.

People who turned out to pay their final respect could not hold back their tears as they prayed for the repose of his soul. 

Rev. J. A.  Ademu, the District Overseer and state Pastor of Foursuare Gospel Church, Idah, said though Akogu would live because he died in the Lord.

His wife of 27 years, Mrs Victoria Akogu, said of him, “You were my teacher, my brother, my friend, my love, my confidant, my father and my husband.”
