Multiple award winning actor, Ali Nuhu has debunked the rumor making round that he secretly married top Kannywood actress Hadiza Gabon.
The actor who is referred to as the King of Kannywood made this clarification in a chat with Daily Trust reporter.
Recently a picture of Nuhu and Gabon went viral on social media with netizens saying the duo got married in Kano.
Nuhu who manages FKD Film Production lamented that some people out of their ulterior motives would create rumor without thinking of its consequences.
He added that picture that triggered the rumor was in a film titled ‘Akushi’, where the actress was playing the role of his wife.
"This picture (the photo which went viral) was posted and tagged "Daga fim din Akushi" Ali said.
He added that "Sometimes you people (media) give these things so much importance and I don’t think all this is necessary, if some people are stupid enough to start asking these questions then you should educate them."
