The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has advised officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force to rededicate themselves to their constitutional duty of protecting lives and property.
Idris also called for due diligence among the personnel even in the face of “undue hostility and unwarranted criticism of members of the force and its leadership.”
He made the call at a reception by the family of Cadet Inspector, Mr Idris Baba-Mohammed, Son of Mohammed Baba Busua, media aide to the IGP. He was represented by Niger State Commissioner of Police, Mr Dibal Yakadi.
