The Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, has called on graduating students of Madarasatul Ihya’Uddinil Islamiyya Wal’ Arabiyyah to endeavour to impart the Qur’anic knowledge they have acquired to the younger ones.

Speaking at the seventh graduation ceremony of the school on Saturday, the chairman said imparting such knowledge to others will go a long way in transforming and enhancing moral value in children in the society. 

He also called on parents to send their children to acquire Islamic knowledge. 

He congratulated the graduands and advised them to be obedient to their parents. 

Earlier in her speech, the head teacher of the school, Malama Fatima Mundi, said the school has not rested on its oars over the years in ensuring that Islamic knowledge was imparted in pupils. 

Among those that graduated were the wife of the Ona of Abaji, Hajiya Khadijat Abdullahi Adamu, and the wife of the Chief Imam of Abaji Central Mosque, Hajiya Amina Bala Usman. 

The  Ona of Abaji, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa and the Chief Imam of Abaji, Alhaji Usman Bala, as well as the Etsu of Kwali, Alhaji Shaban Audu Nizazo, presented certificates and merit awards to the graduands at the event.
