Officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and some chief judges are to undertake a two-week training on seminar for the Improvement of electoral laws and systems in South Korea.
The training, sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Office in Nigeria, would commence on Wednesday at the National Election Commission, Seoul, Korea.
A statement from the South Korean embassy said the programme seeks to improve the electoral laws and system in participating countries such as Nigeria by learning from the Korea.
Invitational training programmes is an important feature of capacity development and has trained approximately 1500 Nigerian government officials in leading Korean institutions in various fields.
