The management of the Jamiyar Matan Arewa Orphanage in Kaduna has commended Media Trust Limited, publishers of Daily Trust titles, for its usual donations and a recent publication by one of the titles.
Daily Trust on Sunday had on March 25, 2018 published a feature titled, ‘A visit to Jamiyar Matan Arewa home of orphans, abandoned children.’
In a letter of appreciation signed by the coordinator of JMA, Hajiya Maryam Ahmad Tahir, the orphanage said the publication had enlightened the general public on what the orphanage had been doing as an NGO since its establishment in 1965, a gesture which the orphanage said would do a lot of good to the orphans.
