Two men who allegedly specialise in exhuming corpses for human parts have been arrested by the police at Wasagu area of Kebbi State while in possession of a human skull.

The suspects, Sanusi Haruna and Monde Wande, were said to have concealed the skull in a bag and were taking it to an undisclosed location for ritual purpose when the police, on a tip off, arrested them.

Speaking on their arrest, the Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim M. Kabiru, said the suspects, after their arrest, provided useful information to the police. 

He said the suspects have been charged to court.

The CP added that the command also arrested six members of three armed robbery gangs that specialized in snatching motorcycles by disguising as passengers.

He said two of the suspected robbers, Bashir Mohammed and Abubakar Sani, were arrested by the police at Bagudo after tricking a motorcyclist who they stabbed and snatched his motorcycle.

The CP said Abdulkareem Mohammed, Abdulsamad Mohammed and Mohammed Bello were arrested for attacking and robbing one Alhaji Umaru Danladi at his residence and snatching a motorcycle from one Yakubu Mohammed.    

He said the command also arrested two kidnap suspects who invaded a house at Danko Wasagu and kidnapped a housewife and her baby for a ransom.
