Senior anti-corruption and activist lawyer, Festus Keyamo (SAN) has explained why he accepted to serve in the President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation.
Keyamo was on April 16 named the Director, Strategic Communications of the Buhari re-election campaign by Transport Minister and the organisation’s Director General, Chibuike Amaechi.
In a 23-paragraph statement on Wednesday, Keyamo said his decision was based on lofty values he found in Buhari and for the good of posterity.
"Let me put it on record that I was indeed consulted before the announcement. Upon the offer, I wholeheartedly and proudly accepted the challenge to do this for the good of my country and for posterity. For in President Buhari I have found an approximation of the lofty values I cherish and have fought for all my life," he said.
