Ahead of the 2019 general elections, a group in Kogi State, Youth For Change (YFC), says it will not relent until the All Progressives Congress (APC) zones its senate ticket for Kogi West Senatorial District to Yagba.
Leader of the group, Mallam Umaru Haruna Bashir, who said this yesterday in Lokoja, maintained that it would be fair and just for the Yagba Federal Constituency to produce the next senator after Ijumu/Kabba, which produced the current occupant of the seat.
He said the opposition PDP had already zoned the seat to Yagba, saying it would be wise for the APC to do same to maintain political tranquility and give a sense of belonging within the ruling party.
