Junior Secondary School Pegi yesterday held its 6th Annual Inter- house sport sports festival with Kuje House emerging winner with 398 points.
The sports festival which featured athletes from five Houses also saw Chida and Pegi House emerging 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Speaking at the occasion, the Principal of the School Abdulrahman Mohammed Ibrahim described the event as an important component of School corporate life which affords the Nigerian Children, an opportunity to showcase and develop their talent.
According to him “sporting activities are part of the co – curricular undertakings essential for the social and physical well-being of our students.”
He also said students of Junior Secondary Scholl Pegi have been doing well in sports.
Also speaking at the occasion, Chairman Kuje Area Council, Honourable Abdullahi Galadima called on the FCT Administration to expedite action on plans to relocate the cchool to its permanent site.
The Chairman who was represented at the occasion by the Area Council Secretary Honourable Bako made a donation of One Hundred Thousand Naira to enable the school upgrade some of its sporting facilities.
