The chairman of Kwali Area Council, Mr. Joseph K. Shazin, has inaugurated 80 additional junior special assistants as his new aides, urging them to be dedicated to their duties.
Shazin said he appointed additional aides to appreciate the contributions the beneficiaries had made since the inception of his administration.
He said the newly appointed junior special assistants would be assigned to various government institutions including the revenue department.
The Kwali chapter chairman of the APC, Alhaji Yahaya Aliyu Sheda, also charged the new appointees to be patient as they discharged their duties.
He urged them to see their appointments as an additional responsibility geared towards moving the party forward.
City News reports that the chairman and other area council chairmen have one year and two months left to end their three years tenure.
