Family of the late Ambassador Yahaya Aliyu has said that he never worked with the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) as reported in the media.
It was earlier reported that the late ambassador Aliyu was the first Executive Secretary of JAMB.
A rejoinder issued by Balaraba Aliyu Inuwa on behalf of the family says the late Aliyu was Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC) from 1981 to 1986; reiterating that he has never worked for JAMB.
He also pointed out that the deceased died on Thursday November 16, 2017 as against what was reported in the dailies that he died on Friday November 17, 2017.
