A turban is a type of  headwear that is wound around or worn on the head to serve as a covering for the hair. It is worn as customary headwear by men and women of various countries.

Communities with prominent turban-wearing traditions are those in the Indian Subcontinent, Afghanistan, Southeast Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, the Middle East, the Near East, Central Asia, North Africa, the Horn of Africa, the Sahel, North America, and parts of the Swahili coast, etc.

However, turban has since become a fashionable wear for women across nations of the world.

Women who look for a unique fashion accessory might consider various things they can wear with their outfits. Women love complimenting their outfits with necklaces, rings, and belts, and they have chosen to wear turban with some using colourful ribbons to match their outfits.

Women may wear wraps around their heads to bring attention to their overall appearance and give themselves a beautiful look.

The beauty of the turban is that it can be worn with different outfits – from traditional to formal wears, casual to occasional wears as the case may be – to bring out the best and make the woman look exceptionally beautiful. Gone are the days when the use of turban was strictly for the religious people; it is now making serious and good fashion statement everywhere.

The ladies also wear these accessories with casual wears such as, Jeans and Tshirt. They appreciate that it does not make their casual appearance look more formal than necessary.

Turban is also appreciated among women who want to keep their hair out of the way of their faces. Many women do not like their hair blowing in their faces in windy conditions.

For those that cannot tie it by themselves, there are already made ones that can be purchased and that make the job easier.
