Fifteen judicial officers, including seven Chief Judges are currently undergoing a two-week training on ‘High Level Partnership Programme for Judicial Development in South Korea.
The short training, sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), was part of the country’s core policy aimed at supporting Nigeria’s Human Resource Development, said a statement from the Korea’s embassy in Abuja.
The training, commenced on October 15, 2017, is holding at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Seoul, Republic of Korea.
KOICA is a government run agency of the Republic of Korea responsible for the delivery of grants and technical cooperation programmes to help the socio-economic advancement of developing countries.
The invitational training programmes is an important feature of capacity development and has trained approximately 1,500 Nigerian government officials in leading Korean institutions in various fields.
