The Senate has resumed sitting after confusion that enveloped the chamber following the invasion by unknown persons.
Our correspondent reports that the sitting resumed after about an hour confusion caused by the unknown persons who went away with the mace.
A new mace was brought and the session resumed by 12.07pm. The session is being presided over by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.
