The Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) Mr Hassan Bello has called on the Ogun State Government to partner with the Council for the development of a Truck Transit Park in the state.

In a press release from the council, Bello made the call during a courtesy visit to the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun in Abeokuta, the state capital.

He said the collaboration would help bring development of the economy, stressing that Ogun State was one of the industrial states in the nation especially in the area of infrastructure and agriculture.

Senator Amosu represented by the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Chief (Mrs) Yetunde Onanuga said the state was ready to collaborate with the Council for the development of the park and will soon meet to take decision on the location.
