Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state has reiterated his administration’s commitment to clamping down on miracle centres across the state.
He said the fight against all forms of examination malpractices in the state is irrevocable.
Speaking during the third convocation ceremony of Paul University, Awka, the governor, who was represented by his deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke, regretted that miracle centres held sway in the state before the advent of his administration.
"My administration is committed to holistic development of all sectors of the State economy, as well as continued advancement of the standards of education in the state," he stressed.
While urging students to devote time to their studies, Obiano pointed out that valuable formal education remains the greatest asset that can be bequeathed to any child.
