The Governor of Anambra State Willie Obiano has urged citizens of the state to keep their homes, offices and environment clean as they prepare for the Christmas celebrations.
The governor who made the call in a release signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy, Ogbuefi Tony Nnachetta, said there would be prizes for the cleanest homes, towns and local government areas in the state.
He said government environment officials would be visiting various communities to ascertain level of compliance.
The governor also encouraged companies, individuals and organizations to compliment government’s effort in beautifying the streets and round-about in their vicinity.
